Sometimes patients have had weight loss surgery and the surgery has failed for some reason. Perhaps there have been mechanical problems with a gastric Band requiring its removal, or the band has slipped. Maybe a weight loss procedure has failed, and weight regain has occurred.
Every patient’s circumstances will be different, and in these cases we suggest you call us and speak to Michael to discuss the history, and possible remedies. Dr Cierny may be able to help you.
Revision surgery can be complicated and difficult, but not in all cases, and it is possible the cost of revision surgery may not be much greater than the original surgery.
