Hey there.

I'm Louise, I had a sleeve one year ago and I've lost just about seven stone since my highest weight just before surgery. The surgery was great and I've gone from strength to strength and have taken up distance running as a hobby.

I love shopping for clothes now and have spent a fortune on new ones (I gave every item of my old fat wardrobe away to friends and relatives).

I am still losing (slower now) and I hope to reach goal eventually in the new year sometime. I shall celebrate that day with a big party! (and some new clothes!)

Thats amazing, you have done so well I can imagine how you are with clothes!!! Its my hubby who is having the band next week so i suppose we be spending a fortune on new clothes for him in the new yr!!!

How did you take to your new life??? I am finding it different already with his pre op diet.

It is lovely that your husband has your support. I took to my new life like a duck to water. I had waited so long and was really ready for change.

I'm sure he will do fantastically well and I wish him all the best.

He is there now had all his tests done today and has his op tomorow.
